Hi, there is a real ugly problem here with courier on Debian.
On Sarge package courier-mta installs libfam0c102 bulldog:~# aptitude install courier-mta Reading Package Lists... Done Building Dependency Tree Reading extended state information Initializing package states... Done Reading task descriptions... Done The following NEW packages will be automatically installed: courier-authdaemon courier-base fam libfam0c102 portmap But if you want to upgrade to Etch, you will find that: The following packages have unmet dependencies: libfam0: Conflicts: libfam0c102 (< 2.7.0-11) but 2.7.0-6sarge1 is installed and it is kept back. libfam0c102: Conflicts: libfam0 but 2.7.0-11 is to be installed. This will kill a sarge-to-etch upgrade if courier is installed. Are there other people with debian around? How would you recommend to solve that situation? Thanks for your attention!
