Guys, I know I am not supposed to ask vpopmail related questions here, however as I have used vpopmail and courier-authlib in the past and it worked fine I thought I would give it a try here as other people may have had similar issues with it.
I installed the whole courier-mta package (not only courier-imap/authlib) and vpopmail (latest versions), installation and compilation went fine so it all looks good now. However, every time when I try to logging to the pop server I get a message saying that the authentication failed, I have run some tests with vpopmail and its mysql db. Vpopmail is accessing the user db and maildirs without problems and it also seems that courier's authentication is going half way through as vpopmail is logging the last ip used to connect to my test account, so there is something happening. My question is, my vpopmail/courier-imap/authlib installations work fine and there is no trick to make them work together. Though, now using the courier-mta package and vpopmail doesn't seem as trivial as it is failing to authenticate. In both cases the interface between courier and vpopmail is courier-authlib, so shouldn't it work just as well with courier-mta?
