Never mind. Got it fixed. I ran the holy trinity:
/usr/local/share/courier/makesmtpaccess
/usr/local/share/courier/makehosteddomains
/usr/local/share/courier/makeacceptmailfor
and flushed the mail queue.
time for bed.
