Hi,

Although i've been using courier-imap for years, it's been a long time since i had last instelled one.

The last time I did, there were only the courier tarball.
Now, there is the courier-authlib.

I want to install courier with LDAP authenticatio, but i'm a bit lost about wich parameters I should use both in courier and courier-authlib.

I've read both INSTALLs, but they didn't enlighten me (maybe my bad).

Could someone give me a hand on this ?

Just follow instructions in courier-authlib's INSTALL, then courier-imap's INSTALL, step by step.

As long as you have OpenLDAP properly installed, courier-authlib will compile the authldap module automatically, just like the old Courier-IMAP, and 'make install-migrate' should import your old LDAP settings (although you will still need to make some manual changes, notably due to the different login fields).

You can install courier-authlib first, and test using authtest to verify that you have LDAP authentication working correctly, then upgrade courier-imap.
