Hi,

I want to have courier authenticating through LDAP.

I've copied authldap.schema to /etc/openldap/schema and restarted LDAP.

The result was:

[EMAIL PROTECTED] openldap]# /etc/init.d/ldap restart
Stopping slapd: [ OK ]
Checking configuration files for slapd: /etc/openldap/schema/authldap.schema: line 81: Duplicate attributeType: "mailhost"
slaptest: bad configuration file!

I'm running CentOS 4.4

Any ideas ?

You have another schema file that defines the 'mailhost' attribute. Find it, and remove the duplicate definition, or remove the one in authldap.schema.

Really, this is basic LDAP setup stuff. You should take the time to learn about LDAP, there are plenty of resources on the web. You're going to find it rather difficult to get LDAP set up without really understanding how it works.
