I am having the same problems. Removing the SECURITY=STARTTLS results in "530 
5.5.1 Authentication Required". Any other pointers? This account works ok 
with EXIM4 but I want to use Courier-MTA

esmtpauthclient is set with my gmail account and password in case your 
wonders.
