with a wraper which do the locking?

Note: I have a real negative experience with "muttdotlock"
and "dotlockfile" since they are to slow in BASH
scripts if courier-mta try again to deliver several
100' mailer-daemon delivery messages at once.

Try converting your procmail recipe to maildrop, and using maildrop's flock command.

It is not realy funny if you do automated mail
processing and courier-mta deliver in less then
15 seconds 1000 delivery status messages to my
       "postmasters" box.

maildrop's flock command translates to an ordinary flock system call, which is probably as fast of a locking implementation as you could possibly hope for.
