Is it possible with courier-imap to purge old messages from certain folders in a periodic way? I am thinking of the Spam-folders of my users. I would like to delete all messages in them that are older than, say, 30 days.
It won't exactly be periodic -- only when the users logs in or out -- see IMAP_EMPTYTRASH -- it can be fiddled to purge other folders.
If courier does not have a way of doing this, would it be okay to run a daily cronjob which uses find do delete those messages? Are there any problems which could happen?
No. That's also fine.
