I'm trying to build RPMs of the Courier components on a SuSE Linux server,
specifically openSuSE 10.2 x64.
When building, I get this error:
~> rpmbuild -ta courier-authlib-0.59.3.tar.bz2
error: Failed build dependencies:
openldap-devel is needed by courier-authlib-0.59.3-10.x86_64
SuSE doesn't appear to provide openldap-devel in their distro so I tried
installing openldap2-devel, but I still get that error.
~> rpm -qa | grep ldap
openldap2-client-2.3.27-25
openldap2-devel-2.3.27-25
yast2-ldap-2.14.0-12
ldapcpplib-0.0.4-38
yast2-ldap-client-2.14.5-10
Can openldap2-devel satisfy the dependency with a bit of tweaking? How
would I do this?
