As far as I can tell, filters won't see the COMCTLFILE_MSGSOURCE (u) line *most* of the time. It'll be in the first control file if there were enough recipients to require more than one, but otherwise the line is written after the filters are run. Sam, you've mentioned before that refactoring the code to run filters after rewriting the message would be difficult, but wouldn't you just need to move the "run_filter" block of code later in SubmitFile::MessageEnd?
