Thank you for your feedback. I know IMAP_ENHANCEDIDLE parameter is not the root of my problems with thunderbird client, I already tried to set it to 0. The strange thing is that evolution mail client work perfectly with my server, when thunderbird oly bring me troubles. I notice today that in addition of the unread emails blinking phenomena, the read ones do not display body at all. If any one know where the problem might come from or can provide any hint it would be appreciated. I use Debian etch package of courier-imap (version 4.2.0-1) mail.log is OK mail.err is clear and my imapd conf file is quite standard (attached). I don't know where to look. It can't be thunderbird I tried on two different PCs with different versions: 1.5 & 2.0.0.6 Regards. > > Hello ! > > I'm setting up an email server on debian etch using Postfix, Maildrop > > and Courier-Imap with virtual user in a mysql database.
