         authorityKeyIdentifier = keyid,issuer:always
   ... are new to me

But the answer is most-definately "no" -- there are no problems with X.509 
extensions.  It must have been FreeRADIUS or OpenLDAP that screwed me over 
last time -- probably OpenLDAP.
