Depends on your platform.  On Red Hat/Fedora systems, yes.  The gdbm 
module is always installed with python.  On Debian/Ubuntu,  python-gdbm 
is a separate package.

Read the "README" file for documentation on the whitelist filters, and 
examples of their use.
