Hi all,
I'm having a bit of a problem getting my courier to use a relayhost/smart
relay. I need all mails not delivered locally to be forwarded on to a
different smtp server.
the "to" smtp server doesn't have an MX record and I have no control over
setting it.
I'm using Courier 53.3
I've poured over the man page as well as the net and can't find what I'm
doing wrong. I'm sure it's something simple.
here is my esmtproute contents [note, there are no spaces or tabs in front
of the : ]
:hostname.of.relay.com
i've also tried
:[ipaddress.of.relay.host]
I've also tried it with spaces and tabs in front of the : but that doesn't
appear to trigger the esmtproutes
When I try to send emails, I get the following error in my maillog
Mar 5 13:43:04 CentOS courieresmtp: id=002E6F36.47CF0337.000064F4,from=<EMAIL
PROTECTED>,addr=<EMAIL PROTECTED>: 553 Sorry, that domain isn't in my list
of allowed rcpthosts.

any ideas?
