My LDAP admins have set up our LDAP with no 'cn' attribute. It now looks
like courier-authlib is querying this attribute during the authentication
process. The admins fear that this is causing problems on their side and
want me to stop querying this attribute. But, AFAICT, we are not querying
it. We only query:
LDAP_MAIL mail
LDAP_HOMEDIR mailHomeDirectory
LDAP_MAILDIR mailMessageStore
LDAP_MAILDIRQUOTA mailQuotaSize
LDAP_AUXOPTIONS mailHost=mailhost
which more or less matches what our LDPA guys see:
attribute: "mailHomeDirectory"
attribute: "mailMessageStore"
* attribute: "cn"*
attribute: "mail"
attribute: "mailQuotaSize"
attribute: "mailHost"
with the exception of "cn"
is the reference to this attribute compiled into courier-authlib? Or where
should I be looking?
