Are you sure?  --  I am not, since if I create e new "Sandbox" and pur a
message into

    ~/Maildir_sandbox/new/message.123

and access the folder using imap it become automaticaly

    ~/Maildir_sandbox/cur/message.123:2,

and if I read it, it is

    ~/Maildir_sandbox/cur/message.123:2,S

BUT, IF I have a message crated by another program and save it to

    ~/Maildir_sandbox/cur/message.456:2,S

and the folder is in my "mailboxes" list of mutt, I have to walk through
this box, EVEN the message is flages as SEEN.

Since there where "mbx" files on the old server I have created a  script
which split the "mbx" files, look into it to get its status and save  it 
appropriated with ":2," or ":2,S" into the folders...

Now there is a problem that courier and mutt let  me  walk  through  all
Mailfolders even there is no unseen message.
