I think it's a memory leak.

If it is a memory leak, it is the kernel leaking memory. Once a process is terminated, it is the kernel's responsibility to release all of its memory.

How could I confirm that memory is used by a process A or B?
Could It be something with Courier? Some trouble with Courier + PAM + MS AD
integration?

If it was any process leaking memory, Courier, or any other process, then you would get it back after terminating the process.
