Is that different from your "original server"?
The original server was still connecting in to the same ISP mail server.
All I've done is migrated from a monolithic server handling everything
to a virtualised environment.
The internet connection to the outside world hasn't changed, it's still
an ADSL connection to my ISP.
As a test, I decided to define the smarthost, but didn't have anything
in /etc/courier/esmtpauthclient, and the emails are being sent out via
the smarthost. :D:D
