Well, it seems that this doesn't work, as it should according to the FAQ
at <http://www.courier-mta.org/FAQ.html#backupmx>.

I've set up frobniz.com as a locally-hosted domain on both machines and
set:

frobniz.com.            IN      MX      10 shakti.fmp.com.
frobniz.com.            IN      MX      5 kali.fmp.com.

Mail to [email protected] is deliverable on macine B (kali).  If I engage
machine A (shakti) in an SMTP dialog it either accepts mail for
[email protected] if a proper local delivery route is available, or it
says "550 User <[email protected]> unknown" if it's not.  It doesn't seem
to know about kali, which is the preferred mail server for the domain.

What am I missing?
