Hi Sam,Thanks for the reply. Please see below.Mar 31 20:26:10 321 courieresmtpd: error,relay=::ffff:127.0.0.1,msg="540 TLS not available.",cmd: STARTTLSAlso TLS support must be compiled in. Either openssl-devel or gnutls-develmust be installed at compiletime, otherwise no TLS support gets compiled in. Check if couriertls was compiled and installed. Thanks Sam.How do I check that? I'm using the courier apt package for Ubuntu, I didn'tcompile it myself. Anyone know whether Ubuntu's package provides support for TLS?If the couriertls command got installed, then TLS was compiled. I'd be surprised if the pre-built package does not, but that's the first thing to check, anyway.Ok, so I do have couriertls installed in the system, however I still get the 540 TLS not available error. So that's more confusing to me.
Then, check that TLS_CERTFILE actually exists and has correct permissions. It has to be readable by the courieresmtpd process, which runs as the courier user.
