The biggest problem is, that I can access any folders even repeatly and
then from one second to another I have unexpected the malloc() error.
I am trying to get this pig since some month...
in the last mail you have written:
----8<------------------------------------------------------------------
But if you insist on debugging it, you can always run imapd from the shell:
imapd [path to maildir], using the uid and gid that owns the maildir, under
a debugger. However, your imapd binary should, of course, be compiled with
debug symbols, and compiler optimizations turned off. Otherwise, as with
any other application, you'll have a hard time hacking at it.
----8<------------------------------------------------------------------
How does this work if I have nearly 200 users accessing the IMAP server?
There is no warranty that I can get the malloc() error in one hour and
for this time the other users would be locked out.
OK, since I have the possibility to install TWO different systems on my
Server, I will use the second Production Sytzem to install Debian/Lenny
from scratch and build a unstriped package with symboles.
Thanks, Greetings and nice Day/Evening
