That's how IMAP is supposed to work. See RFC 3501.

Hi Sam,

I think there was a misunderstanding. The mails are multiplicated.
For example :
Moving 100 mails become 200000 in the other directory.

The most likely reason is that the client is sending duplicate commands. Adding "IMAPDEBUGFILE=debug.dat" to the imapd configuration file, and restarting the service, will create debug.dat in each account's maildir, logging every command received from the client. Note that all imap sessions will get logged, in each account's maildir. Use this to create an accurate log of all commands received from the IMAP client.
