Thanks a lot.

In the past $HOME/.maildir was created automatically when I added a new
user. I will look into why that does not happen anymore. I guess now I want
to create $HOME/Maildir automatically when adding a new user.

Now, If I run maildirmake Maildir in users home directory $HOME/Maildir is
created. Once I email to this user a single file in a
$HOME/Maildir-subdirectory is created. I must have got something wrong the
first time. I was confused about the $HOME/Maildir vs $HOME/.maildir naming!
