Hi, I know that theres esmtproutes to disable outgoing STARTTLS but how about incoming? Can I disable incoming STARTTLS advertising only for specific host?
Also can I get somehow log messages of hosts that started smtpd and issued STARTTLS but never send anything? This would help to track those hosts? As I've found after I upgraded from 0.61.2 to 0.65 I cannot receive email from some smtp servers (like mail.admax.se). Logs only get: Jun 16 02:00:50 z-media courieresmtpd: started,ip=[::ffff:194.32.151.35] But if I do: $ openssl s_client -connect 194.32.151.35:465 -starttls smtp -crlf I can talk with it. I had TLS_PROTOCOL=SSL23 but now I've commented it out, as it seems to be new preferred option. But I'll have to wait to see will it help (as I cannot resend those from mail.admax.se). Or should I just stop advertising STARTTLS as it just seems to give troubles or change to GnuTLS? If I've understood correctly to disable STARTTLS advertising for good I just need to comment out TLS_CERTFILE in esmtpd? -- Yhteistyöterveisin, Jani Ollikainen @ Pronetko Networks Oy ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ThinkGeek and WIRED's GeekDad team up for the Ultimate GeekDad Father's Day Giveaway.
