Manao ahoana, Hello, Bonjour,

I have an old Courier authing against a MySQL database.
Currently, passwords are cleartext in the database and
it's time to switch to at least crypt()'d passes.

Do you think my current version of Courier and Courier-authmysql
will support this? It's running on a Debian Etch.

miham...@feemail:~$ dpkg -l | grep courier
ii courier-authda 0.45.6.2004071 Courier Mail Server - Authentication daemon
ii courier-authmy 0.45.6.2004071 Courier Mail Server - MySQL authentication
ii courier-base 0.45.6.2004071 Courier Mail Server - Base system
ii courier-imap 1.4.3-2.4 IMAP daemon with PAM and Maildir support
rc courier-mta 0.47-4sarge5 Courier Mail Server - ESMTP daemon
ii courier-pop 0.45.6.2004071 Courier Mail Server - POP3 server

Upgrade is planned and scheduled, but I must crypt() the password
*before* that for internal reasons.

Misaotra, Thanks, Merci.
