Courier invokes whatever program is written in /etc/courier/maildropfiter
executing a regular fork/execv from the local delivery module.  UID/GID are
thus retained.

The usual hack is to set the executable suid.  However, it shouldn't be
necessary, since the local delivery module, using its permissions, is able
to write the mail files.  Otherwise, it may be safer to invoke a suid
executable from the rcptfilter.sh script...
