Hello. First of all sorry for my bad English.
Since yesterday my Courier MTA makes trouble. I am Using Debian Lenny with this Courier Packages: courier-authdaemon/stable uptodate 0.61.0-1+lenny1 courier-authlib/stable uptodate 0.61.0-1+lenny1 courier-authlib-mysql/stable uptodate 0.61.0-1+lenny1 courier-authlib-userdb/stable uptodate 0.61.0-1+lenny1 courier-base/stable uptodate 0.60.0-2 courier-imap/stable uptodate 4.4.0-2 courier-imap-ssl/stable uptodate 4.4.0-2 courier-pop/stable uptodate 0.60.0-2 courier-ssl/stable uptodate 0.60.0-2 Courier uses virtual Mailboxes with MySQL. Now lets begin reporting the failure Yesterday, my Courier couldn´t open some Mailbox Folders. On my Mailbox only the INBOX Folder shows Mails. If I open Trash or Sent with Thunderbird he says "Unable to open this Mailbox". My wifes Mailbox doesn´t work. No Folder works fine. After this I have checked Logs and permissions on my Debian Server. The permissions on my Mailbox looks good: .Trash# ls -la total 32 -rw-r--r-- 1 vmail vmail 43 May 6 2009 courierimapacl drwx------ 2 vmail vmail 4096 Nov 1 15:05 courierimapkeywords drwx------ 2 vmail vmail 12288 Jan 5 14:15 cur -rw------- 1 vmail vmail 0 May 6 2009 maildirfolder drwx------ 2 vmail vmail 4096 May 6 2009 new Now I tested my Mailbox with Telnet: 0 select INBOX * FLAGS ($MDNSent \Draft \Answered \Flagged \Deleted \Seen \Recent) * OK [PERMANENTFLAGS ($MDNSent \* \Draft \Answered \Flagged \Deleted \Seen)] Limited * 141 EXISTS * 0 RECENT * OK [UIDVALIDITY 1241624545] Ok * OK [MYRIGHTS "acdilrsw"] ACL 0 OK [READ-WRITE] Ok 0 select INBOX.Trash 0 NO Unable to open this mailbox. 0 select INBOX.Spam 0 NO Unable to open this mailbox. INBOX ok, the others Unable to open this mailbox. After this I stopped my Courier and deleted courierimapuiddb for Trash. (This mails aren´t important) Nothing happened. Normally Courier should read the folder and write a new courierimapuiddb. In the mail logs I only see this lines: Jan 5 14:54:30 s1 imapd: LOGIN, [email protected], ip=[::ffff:127.0.0.1], port=[47965], protocol=IMAP Jan 5 14:54:30 s1 imapd: LOGOUT, [email protected], ip=[::ffff:127.0.0.1], headers=0, body=0, rcvd=116, sent=611, time=0 Can anybody help me with my problem. I don´t know what to do? How can I see more logs from Courier. I have written DEBUG_LOGIN in authdaemonrc but this logs only the login. Are there any other options? Maybe important the value in mysql table is 0. Because in many posts i found on google the solution was the Quota. But it works fine for 2 years with this setup.
