Hi, Today I had a configuration problem which was solved only by consulting source code.
My main server is sizifas.gmc.lt. locals configuration file contained: gmc.lt !exception1.gmc.lt !exception2.gmc.lt .gmc.lt I setup another server -- titanas.gmc.lt, for serving agrobirza.lt domain. Setup MX 10 titanas.gmc.lt. for that domain. And try to send e-mail from sizifas to exam...@agrobirza.lt. I got error message "configuration error: mail loops back to myself (MX problem)." The problems with this message are two: - it says nothing about locals configuration file (where the root of the problem is -- I needed to add another exception -- !titanas.gmc.lt) - it points admin to search why courier is getting different MX (pointing to the same host -- "myself") than one DNS tools reports; while in fact courier gets correct MX, just interprets it in strange way I think that at the very least wording in that error message should be changed -- instead of "myself" should be something mentioning locals configuration file. On the other hand, maybe courier's logic should be different when MX points to the address, which this host do not listen on?
