Hi, I used courier-imap for several yoears now, without any problem.

Overnight imap stoped working. Just for this single user. Others still work Username is boerns. I cannot login with imap. Mail is still received during qmail-mailserver and I can connect to maildir with sqwebmail. But login with courier-imap stopped. Other users of the system are not affected. Login works. I created a totally new user called courierimap. With this, I can login: holodeck authlib # telnet 127.0.0.1 143 Trying 127.0.0.1... Connected to 127.0.0.1. When doing this with squirrelmail or thunderbird I get a timeout. interactive telnet stays without timeout untill I kill the process. I think there must be something wrong with files in homedir of user boerns, but I do not know which one. Which files could be impacted used by courier-imap? Any Idea?
