Hi Sam and all,

The documentation seems to be missing information on whether a subnetted IP block can be specified in /etc/courier/smtpaccess/* files. In my /etc/courier/smtpaccess/default file, I would like to have one line like this:
    192.168.1.0/26 allow,RELAYCLIENT

This corresponds to my LAN using a /26 subnet (192.168.1.0 to 192.168.1.63)
makesmtpaccess accepts this, but there's nothing in the documentation to say that it will accept it, nor what the actual behaviour will be.
However, trying to send email does not work with this line present.

Is it possible to allow the entry of subnet masks (long and/or short form) in the smtpaccess/* files, so that you can more easily lock down your RELAYCLIENTs to only the IPs you really want to be allowed to relay?

Install the Net::CIDR module from CPAN.
