That's who should they contact first imho.
Yes, their ISPs provide email for them associated with their ISP accounts, including SMTP service. Usually the inbound part consists of a single mailbox. FMP provides inbound email for them associated with their preferred business domain names, with multiple mailboxes and fine-grained control over redirection and filtering of inbound mail, plus webmail access. It's a service well beyond what most ISPs provide. If they want or need authenticated SMTP, it's available. I just don't encourage it or add it by default. All of FMP's customers come to us with ISP accounts already in place, including SMTP service. FMP's mail service adds very flexible and customizable inbound email for their single or multiple business domain names. There's no need for them to switch SMTP servers. -- Lindsay Haisley | "UNIX is user-friendly, it just FMP Computer Services | chooses its friends." 512-259-1190 | -- Andreas Bogk http://www.fmp.com | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Learn the latest--Visual Studio 2012, SharePoint 2013, SQL 2012, more!
