Well it does obey the prefix, but then things get nested too deep. For instance, if I do './configure --prefix=/usr/local/' then when you do 'make install', the packages will be deeply nested. So things will go like this: /usr/local/lib/courier/courier-authlib/authProg /usr/local/lib/courier/courier/modules/.... Things are so deeply nested. It follows --prefix but its kinda weird.
