Yes, it's excellent as a reference but kind of lousy as a howto guide. I've found a few useful courier-imap tutorials over the years but always in conjunction with postfix. I don't recall ever seeing a howto for courier-mta in the ~10 years I've been using it. If it wasn't for Mr Sam and this mailing list I would have abandoned courier-mta long ago for postfix because at least there are countless howtos for it.
