Just to be able to have a two passwords, one for incoming mail and a different one for outgoing mail, could make a difference so any suggestions how to allow our clients to use different passwords for the different courier-authdaemon family of services?
Using mysql or postgres, you can use a custom query, and use the $(service) variable. There is no equivalent to that in authldap.
authpam uses different service files in /etc/pam.d; something can be done with that, but if pam uses system passwords, the stock /etc/passwd module doesn't really give you much choice.
