Are you talking about http://lime-technology.com/ ? This sounds... weird. They vaguely describe an aggregate of disks with a single disk for parity. I don't understand how that's not RAID 4. Which no one uses, because the one disk used for parity is a bottleneck for writes. Reiserfs? Generally considered less reliable, less capable, and slower than ext4 and XFS.
