I lost track. Some questions:
-- Is the original generator, as originally written, correct?
-- Were all of the original tests correct?

I wrote the original ellipse/ellipsoid code. Or rather, I blundered into
it, thinking that it was going to be trivially easy, and was distressed to
find out I had to actually read and understand papers, and a half-hour
project blossomed into a multi-day effort. But I thought I left it in a
good state.
