You might want to check www.the-hub.net They have 3rd office type spaces for social entrepreneurs. One of them is in Sao Paolo. The others are in London, Bristol (coming later this year - in a converted watermill), Mumbai, Rotterdam (just opened - although officially opens in June I am meeting the guys who set that up on Thursday), Berlin and Johanesberg. There are another 10 countries who are working through the feasibility process to become Hubs also. Membership entitles you to work in any of them. I have the full documentation on their appraoch to partnerships and overall philosophy. is there a way to upload files to the wiki? If not then will send it to any inetrested parties...... Or post a precis on the wiki......
I have a meeting with the founding partner of The Hub the week after next: would be intrested to hear what people think of their appraoch and how it fits within the coworking community. I am also working toward a London Jelly, much of the Amit Gupta pioneered style. If you are in London or on your way to London then you would be more than welcome at my place as of now - just get in touch. An official page with more infomration will go up soon on the coworking site. It's going to be a couple of months still before I have the place here as I would like it. Once sorted the London Jelly should be able to welcome 5 or so people on at least a day a week...... Richard and any of the others who have been posting about London coworking, I am completely there for the next meeting. In fact I would be more than happy to host the next meeting at my place (near Angel) if you wish......... We could all meet at The Hub (just up the road from me) and check their space out and then come back to mine for waffle, plans and beers......
