Indeed, based on the description of our efforts, we're looking to create an upstart grassroots network of local-community defined spaces that are *like* cafes but are setup to be productive work spaces.
While variations on the model are encouraged, the goal is to keep costs for everyone involved low and affordable; I can see how a pool might make sense in Austin, but I'm not sure how you keep the price point affordable.
