I may be interested in this, if you're willing to accept a current for-profit who wants to generate enough income stream to then start doing some not-always-for-profit work... I do have non-profit clients ;-)
I am a freelance software developer/consultant. The office sounds *really* small, so I'd need to see it, and also I'd need to be able to bring my very quiet dog. And if we could get just a few more people to expand into that extra space, that sounds really appealing - a nice office size, not too big, not too small... Hi, I'm (still) looking for a couple folks who are interested in building a coworking space comprised of small non-profits or not-just-for- profits (like consultants, enviro folks, social entrepreneurs, etc.). I got tired of the whole coworking chicken & egg conundrum; office space or coworkers first? Since I have a small office space right now I figured, why not open it up to sharing with one or two other people who need an occasional office? Maybe by starting small, we could build a complimentary coworking community organically, and find spaces that suit our needs--- together. Speaking of starting small.... The office space really is around 110 square feet, with vaulted ceilings, a large window, high speed wifi, bamboo floors, good paint job (the space feels bigger than it is), small fridge, two desks, sink, printer/copier/fax, and shelving. There's free off-street parking, a mail box for the office, a freight elevator, and secure entry. Located just a couple blocks from Woodland Park Zoo, Green Lake, and is near the nexus of Fremont and Phinney Ridge. Also convenient to and from Downtown. Rent is negotiable, though I'd like to at least go half n' half on rent, which is $245 a month (this includes all utilities except DSL). So, your monthly rent would be somewhere around $120-ish a month. We could figure out how to split the details--- printer paper, toner, DSL, etc. If there were several people who were interested right now, it'd be possible for us to expand into the next office over, which is about 400 square feet. Interested? Let's meet at the office. Feel free to give me a call at 206-909-2684 to set up a meeting. I'll bring coffee.
