Thanks Tara you are great! -------------- Original message from "Tara Hunt" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: --------------
Definitely free...get some sponsors to throw in prizes, but award them for fun stuff, like "longest code written unnecessarily" and "wackiest idea", etc. If you can't give random prizes...it's fine. Just the reward of a fun hackathon where you get to come together and accomplish something in a team apart from 'work' is fun! Oh...see Mashpit for some ideas: http://mashpit.pbwiki.com/ T On 9/7/07, wilsonwrites <[EMAIL PROTECTED] > wrote: Can any of you guys help with this? Should it be a free event or should I charge an entry fee? And what should be the prize....I dont want to spend a lot of money just trying to create awareness about the space. I open to suggestions and criticism....
