I'm Greg (online - smoking goat), and I work for a French company that is opening an office in SF, and has extra space it wants to offer as coworking space. As such, I'm one of two anchor tenants who are essentially in charge of managing the space. This is PariSoMa in San Francisco (parisoma.wordpress.com).
We're still "in progress" since both us anchor tenants are part-time, and we're looking to add a third anchor tenant associated with the company before we open the doors. Hopefully this mix of part- company, part independent consultant will work; in any case, both Sean and I work on several projects for other clients too, so it won't feel like there's one sinister "The French Company" side of the room. ;-) I was encouraged to see that a lot of people respond highly to the atmosphere of a coworking space, because I think that's what we've got in spades. Personally, I'm not a huge fan of the "make the office look like a coffee-shop" trend - sometimes I actually *can't* get work done in a coffee-shop. :-) I cut my tech teeth in nonprofits for a decade, spending years in a converted victorian, so being in a real live work space with a real kitchen and bathroom is very "home" _and_ "office" to me. I have some questions, and I can send out more details about the space, but I'll pop them on here once I've done my due diligence research. :-) Greg --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Coworking" group.
