Hey everyone, I just discovered this group and have been looking for a coworking spot in the downtown TO area, as I am not looking forward to another summer trapped in my sweatbox of an apartment. I'm an independent firmware engineer writing code for broadcast electronics and doing a little bit of driver development for the Linux kernel. It would also be nice to have a little bit of social interaction on a regular basis. The thing is, I'll only be needing a place until the end of July, as I'll be moving to Florida to work on my PhD. I don't require much in the way of services - just an internet connection, some desk space, and a little bit of storage for some electronic parts. Oh, and an average air temperature below 30ºC would be nice.
So does anyone have or know of a spare desk available? I looked at the Centre for Social Innovation, but they require a minimum commitment of six months.
