Hi all, I'm on the committee of Fly The Coop, a newly formed co-operative hoping to foster a group of co-working spaces across Manchester, one of the most famous and dynamic cities in Britain:
http://www.flythecoop.co.uk/ Our first space is likely to be on Manchester Science Park, as we're mostly programmers/software guys, but we're hoping to get spaces in the Northern Quarter and further afield, and to foster collaboration in other industries. On Wednesday 26th November we will be holding a co-working day, and in the afternoon a session to let everyone know what we've done so far, and to get some input.
