Hello Alex,

The things that are the most fun to do are those that friends and family
pronounce dumb and failure guaranteed.

When I published my book, Influencing with Integrity, I included all the
original drawings that the editor said I could not use. A professional critic
had advised to have a professional artist re-do them, as well. I did neither.
I had the book printed with the drawings. Then when the book was a success
(over 151,000 copies sold in seven languages ) I went around asking people why
they bought the book. One in five (more or less) said it was the drawings.
Regards, Genie

esp. since our friends and family are telling us that this is a dumb idea
that won't work!

If you told ME two years ago that IndyHall would have the impact it's had on
our community members, our city, other organizations within the city and
myself, I'd have called you dumb too.

  Keep at it. :)

The DaVinci Institute's annual forecast trend list includes two
related to coworking. One is an increasing number of single person
businesses. The other is a trend they call "business colonies", which
sounds like coworking meets economic development meets clusters. Key
      quote:

"Colonies will form around shared resources. Equipment that is too
expensive for one person to own will be owned by the colony for all to
share. Colonies will vary in size and structure as communities begin
to experiment with the essential ingredients needed to make it
      successful."

      It is at: http://www.davinciinstitute.com/page.php?ID=621

DaVinci can be a bit flakey, but their work is almost always
      interesting and well thought out.

We did our trends list for small business, but did not mention
      coworking:). It is at:
