Greetings Co-Workers! I wanted to put out the feelers to this lovely group and generate some interest in a co-working space proposed in Worcester, Massachusetts. As all of the ideas and motives behind co-working go, this space will be no-different. We're looking to develop a creative, fun and professional community for Worcester and the surrounding area's Freelancers to work and collaborate.
As freelancers, consultants and contractors, we're often left with very few options for our working spaces. A home office that can be quite isolating, a coffee shop or public space that can be noisy and distracting or a very high priced office space with few people to share the costs. Co-Working Worcester is here to bring smart, creative people together to develop a productive and enjoyable working community. The space being considered for development would be near downtown Worcester off of Highland Street in a beautifully restored historic mansion with lots of parking and and full modern office amenities. A fully functioning conference room to take clients and have meetings would also be on the table for development. Costs and payment methods are not ironed out yet, but the purpose of this space is to keep costs low for everyone involved and still provide a sense of stewardship and contribution.
