Hey folks, Just wanted to say officially that Beehive Baltimore is opening tomorrow morning, Monday, February 2nd!
We have a great space, and had a great turnout of our coworkers to help assemble our furniture and arrange things today. Here are some pictures: http://www.flickr.com/photos/bhivebmore/show/ Anyway, we are LIVE after 3 months of working in a local coffee shop, and I cannot stress enough how effective this was for us. A coworking space is nothing but an artifact of an already effective coworking community. Do what you can to nurture that community and the space will work itself out; if you start with the space and then try to find the community to fill it, it's really an uphill battle. If any of you are ever in Baltimore, we encourage you to stop by and say hi. We will formalize our participation in the visa initiatives soon, but in the meantime we would love to see folks from other communities stop by!
