A while ago (1999-2004) I used to host a monthly networking lunch for people working solo in the Boston area. The project came back to life this month with a new name: Free Agent Jungle. Our first event is happening later this month in Cambridge on February 19th.
If you'd like to join us, there's more info on the website at www.FreeAgentJungle.com. If anyone is interested in conspiring on Free Agent Jungle events in cities beyond Boston, let me know. The Boston event in February is at a restaurant but coworking spaces would make a good venue, too -- if there are places to sit.
