All work and no play makes jack a dull boy (and jane a dull girl). Having a
lounge, with games and toys and reading material (not just work-related
stuff) is important for quality of life, and thats a huge aspect to our
community and workspace. It also reflects on the nature of the culture
that's been fostered here.

And to David's point, making video games (and a beer fridge) available are
absolutely part of the bonding experience between community members.

One final point worth making: Coworking offices are different,
intrinsically. If an office looks and feels too much like an office, people
enter with an office mentality. Worse, they wont enter at all because
they've already left the office and aren't looking to go back to the office
that they are used to.

If it looks and feels different, they are prepared with a new frame of mind
and take better advantage of the types of dynamics that a non-traditional
office can offer. Games are absolutely a part of that!
