Hi, I just wanted to let anyone that might be interested know that Collective Turf Coworking located in downtown Urbana is opening officially on April 20, 2009. There are four of us already and we've already had about interest from a number of uncommitted people from the local Freelancers meetup group that we started last month.
We are hosting the Champaign-Urbana Freelancers Group meetup again this month which is April 16, 2009 @ 6:30pm CDT. Our address is 110 W. Main Street, Urbana, IL 61801. This month an attorney specializing in business and intellectual property law, Alan Singleton, will be talking and answering questions about Patents, Trademarks, Copyright and Legal Entities. Please see http://cufreelancers.info for more information. In addition we are also hosting Champaign-Urbana's first BarCamp on social media/web/technology on Saturday April 25, 2009 @ 2pm CDT. Find out more about this BarCamp at http://cubarcamp.info. We are in the process of updating our website with membership plan specifics and more photos of available amenities and facilities.
