We have a few journalists at our space, including myself. One is part- time staffer for a local paper and part-time freelancer, so she spends her freelancing days here. We've also sponsored a few journalism events and hosted some of them at our space. But besides the obvious price issue that was already mentioned, some journalists may have an issue with phones. The ones that do a lot of writing and research, taking a couple of phone calls here and there throughout the day is fine (I do that all the time). But for daily news reporters, they're on the phone a lot and they have to take that phone call whenever it comes. Most coworking places have phone policies that may restrict journalists' movements - just a thought.
We haven't talked to any traditional news organizations.
